The Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences in Academia Sinica, one of the most eminent research institutes in Taiwan, invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in atomic physics and optical science. We invite applications from individuals with expertise in atomic physics, optical sciences, and quantum science and technology, either theoretically or experimentally. Higher priority will be given to theoretical quantum many-body physics with ultracold quantum gases and theoretical quantum optics. The Atomic Physics and Optics Science Group has existing strengths in experiments of quantum gases, cold-atom based quantum optics and nonlinear optics, as well as ultrafast and ultraintense lasers. A start-up package will also be provided to a new faculty.

Candidates at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Research Fellow levels (equivalent to Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor respectively) will be considered. A qualified candidate must have a Ph.D. degree and is expected to develop an internationally recognized research program.
