The
research is concerned primarily with molecular dynamics and
kinetics in the gaseous phase such as chemical reaction, nonreactive
energy transfer, mechanistic processes, orbital alignment
effect, and photod-issociation dynamics of small molecules.
The recent researches are focused on reaction dynamics of
1A and 2A metal atoms with H2, CH4 and
rare gases, photodissociation and ionization mechamism of
ketene, and rotational and vibiational energy transfer of CH.
Our research interest also includes application of laser spectrometers
to analytical chemistry, including trace analysis, reduction
of electrical interference with the signals, temperature determination,
and single molecule detection.
