Abstract: CECAM-TW Kick-Off Meeting marks the official launch of the Taiwan Node of the Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moléculaire (CECAM). Abstract: On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 15th Young Researcher Symposium of FNTG, taking place on September 23, 2025, at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences (IAMS), Academia Sinica, in Taipei, Taiwan. This one-day event is a satellite symposium of FNTG69, the 69th meeting of the Fullerene–Nanotube–Graphene Society, which will convene at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) from September 24–26, 2025. As the first FNTG meeting to be held outside Japan, this milestone event is expected to attract over 250 researchers from Japan and Taiwan.
The Young Researcher Symposium offers a unique platform to foster dialogue and collaboration among emerging scientists. In addition to invited talks, the symposium will encourage informal networking by matching attendees and Taiwanese researchers for lunch (self-paid), lab tours, and an evening excursion to a night market.

Abstract: Spectroscopy has been an essential tool for the investigation of chemical and physical systems of interest. With the continuous development of more sophisticated spectroscopic techniques accompanied by the improvement of the theoretical understanding of the underlying processes, the role of spectroscopy in modern science becomes even more important . This workshop is planned as a platform for domestic and international researchers working on and with spectroscopy to share the latest results and to form potential alliances to tackle challenges with an emphasis on key species in atmospheric and astro-chemistry. It is also our intention to bring together experimental and theoretical researchers studying different regions of electromagnetic spectra, providing an opportunity to learn about the possibilities and obstacles in different sub-fields and to foster collaborations.

The workshop series provides an informal opportunity for presentation of recent results and ongoing projects from both Taiwan and Japan’s sides.
The meeting format is a combination of more than 15 invited talks and a poster session, alongside the international communication and lab visiting opportunity.
